Warranty Terms and Conditions

New stock supplied by Shoprider (excluding batteries)

Shoprider South Africa warrants that all new parts/equipment will be free from defects under normal use, for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase by the original customer.

Shoprider South Africa will repair or replace, at our option, free of charge any part found upon examination by Shoprider SA to be defective in material and/or workmanship within the warranty period.

All parts claimed under warranty must be returned to Shoprider SA in their present condition.  Only Shoprider SA can undertake warranty work.

Exclusions:

  1. All transportation costs associated with the submission and return of parts for repair or replacement under warranty (as determined by Shoprider SA) are the responsibility of the original customer.

  2. Normal wear items are not covered under this warranty.  These include such items as brushes, tyres, tubes, brake pads, upholstery, seating and arm rests.

  3. Damage caused by:

    1. Excessive, abusive, misuse, negligence or accident

    2. Improper maintenance, maintenance carried out by non-approved dealers

    3. Improper operation or storage

    4. Any commercial use

    5. Fitment of non-manufacturer approved accessories

    6. Lightning

Pre-owned stock supplied by Shoprider (excluding batteries)

Shoprider South Africa warrants that all pre-owned parts/equipment will be free from defects under normal use, for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase by the original customer.

Shoprider South Africa will repair or replace, at our option, free of charge any part found upon examination by Shoprider SA to be defective in material and/or workmanship within the warranty period.

All parts claimed under warranty must be returned to Shoprider SA in their present condition.  Only Shoprider SA can undertake warranty work.
